Construction Lending Specialist

Description

This position is responsible for supporting Construction Lending Officers  and will be the liaison between Patriot Bank and Patriot Bank Mortgage, Inc. Addresses and improves existing Construction Lending processes and production guidelines. Will also be involved in market share improvements and brand recognition of the Patriot Bank Construction Lending Program.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience;
  • Minimum 5 years construction lending administration experience;
  • Recent experience in Construction Borrowing Base Administration is a plus;
  • Expertise in construction lending products, services and regulatory guidelines;
  • Ability to acquire and communicate changing product information;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to identify client needs and resolve problems;
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills to effectively convey goals and objectives to internal and external parties;
  • Creativity, negotiations and problem solving skills;
  • Ability to think strategically and facilitate plans;
  • Excellent PC skills, including word-processing, spreadsheet, presentation, Internet and banking software

Specific Job Functions:

  • Provides product/program training on a franchise basis to affiliated Bank employees;
  • Educates and influences team members to support advancement of Construction Lending Program;
  • Assists management with the development and advancement of Construction Lending Program;
  • Works directly with Senior Vice President-Retail Production Manager or other delegated management;
  • Develops and fosters industry relations including but not limited to homebuilders, real estate professionals, investors and lenders, and other business development contacts;
  • Performs other duties or tasks as required to meet the objectives of the Team.
