With a moving van stuffed with furniture and a title company conference room full of realtors, buyers and sellers, a frantic Janice Murphy of Martha Turner Properties called on Darryl Rock's team at Patriot Mortgage to turn a nightmare into dreams of home sweet home.

The chaos began when a Houston homebuyer discovered her mortgage loan had never been submitted for approval with a large, well known mortgage lender after the buyers, sellers and realtors arrived at the title company for the closing. Meanwhile, the home buyer's furniture had been loaded into the moving van and was headed to the new address. Janice immediately thought of Darryl Rock and his team and placed a call to explain the situation. The mortgage team sprung into action. In just 6 hours, the mortgage team approved the loan and prepared all of the paperwork. The family closed on their new home the same day and moved in as planned. Patriot Investment:
PATRIOT TO SELL MORE STOCK
Patriot Bank has announced that it will raise an additional $9 million in new capital by issuing new common stock. The new stock offering will be open to current Patriot Bank Shareholders that qualify as "Accredited Investors" under the guidelines which will be outlined in the Private Placement Memorandum's to be mailed to the shareholders this week. The new stock will be offered in a "Dutch Auction" format which will allow the shareholders to bid on the stock. The bid deadline will be noon on Friday March 2.

SERVICE MATTERS
Harry Herzog, the first non-employee account holder of Patriot Bank, can't stop singing the praises of the Patriot bank lobby team at the San Felipe location. He explains, "My office has been in the building that houses the Patriot Bank's main offices for 18 years. Joy Drive:
25,000 THANK YOU'S
Patriot Bank, Starbucks, Fox 26 and My 20 teamed up last quarter for the 2006 Joy Drive, collecting toys and books for children in need. Patriot Bank was proud to be selected as the only bank in metro Houston to participate in the Joy Drive benefiting The Texas Children's Hospital. Throughout Houston, over 100 community Starbucks locations collected unwrapped books and toys. The gifts were then donated to underprivileged children being treated at Texas Children's Hospital. As a result, each child at Texas Children's received a bag of gifts on December 21st. Patriot's involvement and generous underwriting for this event contributed substantially to the donation of over 25,000 toys for children receiving treatment in our area. In lieu of a bank Christmas party, Patriot team members shared their blessings with these special children in need.
